| I have had Labs in my life, growing up with my Dad's bird dogs. In my 'adult life' I have had a couple of my own. I then decided I wanted to take it a step further and get a lab I could hunt bird with , as well as be my companion,. I found Hightest Retrievers and bought a pup. Shady is by far the best dog I have ever owned, and I have had some good dogs ! Thou I only hunt pheasant with her, she has tremendos drive that I know, would have made her a great field trial dog. Her sire is Oldflield's Remington Steele and her dam is Hightest Haileys Comet. Her grandma was the infamous Hightest Mighty Mouse |
| My Husband Mark kept a pup from Shady's first breeding. She was bred to a stud dog at Hightest, Cold Water's Bad News. He too is very birdy, and one of the smartest good lookin dogs around. He is a big blocky dog with a cold water coat and weights in at 115 lbs. |
